We are creating a new relaxed restaurant, bar and coffee house, adding a new spot for Westbourne locals to eat, drink and meet with friends, as well as for those from further afield who enjoy lounging about on our beaches. Our website will be finished when we have lots of new photos to share with you.

Alum Beach Hut is our homage to The Alum Beach Café that was once on this site … but it’ll be way more than just a café! We have a relaxed, colourful and informal space where you can choose a proper dining table, a comfy chair or sofa, or a barstool from which to watch the world go by.  

The food will be a mix of seafood, grilled meats, delicious comfort dishes, salads, children’s meals, the ever-popular pizzas, plus treats for your dogs. All accompanied by an extended list of beers, damn fine wines, cocktails, and excellent soft and non-alcoholic drinks.
